Bring this with you
The work in the room is done on your own project, so come with something real.
- A project that is in the field, about to start, or in trouble
- Its budget and schedule in whatever form they exist
- The contracts or scopes you are working under
The detailed module-by-module outline is published here as the Academy approves it. Nothing is shown until it is approved — the subjects above are the confirmed scope of the course.
Owner control
What you watch, every month
Control is a small number of registers, kept current, reconciled to one another.
Control panel
Original budget
The number the project was authorised at.
Approved commitments
What has actually been contracted.
Pending changes
Priced, unpriced and disputed, held in one place.
Forecast at completion
Where the project lands if nothing else changes.
Schedule milestones
The dates the money and the work depend on.
Draw review
What was requested, what was supported, what was paid.
Top risks
The few items capable of moving the outcome.
Change control
How a change is actually handled
A change that skips a step in this chain becomes a dispute later.
01
Issue identified
Someone sees it, and it is written down.
02
Scope defined
What is actually being added, removed or altered.
03
Cost and time tested
Both consequences priced before anyone agrees.
04
Authority approves
The person with the right to decide, decides.
05
Forecast updates
Budget and schedule carry the change forward.
06
Record closes
The log is complete, and the draw can be supported.
When a project is behind
Thirty, sixty, ninety
Stabilize
Stop the bleeding: facts, cash position, immediate exposures.
Reforecast
Rebuild cost to complete and schedule on evidence, not hope.
Execute and verify
Work the plan, and prove each step before claiming it.
This is the method taught for stabilising a project. It is not a claim that every distressed project can be recovered.

Apply
Apply before a cohort opens
Tell us where you are and what you are working on. Applying costs nothing, reserves no seat and is not an offer of a place — it puts your details in front of the Academy before dates are released.
Enrollment
How enrollment works
One open cohort per format
At most one in-person and one virtual cohort of this course are open at any time. The two queues move independently.
Next cohort only
Only the next cohort in each format is listed. Later cohorts are not shown until the current one sells out.
Waitlist in order
When a cohort sells out, a first-come waitlist opens. If no next cohort is approved, you can leave your email to be notified.
